At the early stage of AVA – the app that would later become Gigi AI Dating – I led the UX thinking, UI foundations, and art direction. My role was to help define how users would interact with an AI dating assistant by analyzing the capabilities and limitations of early LLMs. I explored multiple interaction models, onboarding flows, and visual directions while integrating the existing AVA character into a cohesive and emotionally resonant experience. I crafted initial design iterations, tested tone and intent, and built a visual language that bridged trust, playfulness, and innovation.
